Randy is originally a native of Illinois farm country. After graduating from high school he joined the United States Army as a combat medic and respiratory therapy technician and served three years on active duty and three years in the reserves. His last duty station was the DMZ in South Korea.
After his honorable discharge he attended Graham Hospital School of Nursing and Spoon River College and became a Registered Nurse. He met his wife Christy of 45 years on the first day of school. He attended California College for Respiratory Therapy and became a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician and a Registered Respiratory Therapist. He mainly worked in critical care and became a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse and EMTi for transporting patients to Level I Trauma Centers. He earned two AAS degrees and one Bachelors Degree.
Randy and Christy had two children in Illinois and moved to Arizona where they found another son. Randy continued his professional career in ICU and began teaching Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Electrocardiogram Interpretations. After about twenty years he left the ICU and became a hospital supervisor for 5 years. During his supervisory role he went back to college and attained additional AAS degrees in Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, CISCO, and 12 national certifications.
He was offered a full-time professorship at Estrella Mountain Community College where he was the director of Microsoft, CISCO, and Red Hat Linux Networking degree programs. Later he received his Masters Degree in Education with a focus on online education.
Randy also served in a part-time voluteer role as Information Technology Directory at Cornerstone High School. Randy and Christy's daughter, son-in-law and our two grandchildren moved to Middleburg Florida in 2012. Christy was an emergency room Registered Nurse for 40 years. They both retired in 2018 and moved to Florida, next door to our children after building their home.
For some odd reason both of Randy and Christy's children chose Information Technology as a profession. Our other son that our son brought home at 15 is a firefighter paramedic in Arizona.
He loves South Middleburg Baptist church because of the pastor's teaching, warmth of a family atmosphere, and joy to be there.
Sadly, My Mission is to end Human Trafficking, especially Child Trafficking.
Child Trafficking is an abomination to God, and is an offensive stain on America's Honor especially for those of us who served honorably in the United States Military. Please go the movie theater and watch the "Sound of Freedom" and end this horrific nightmare for almost four million children. The more people are aware and disgusted we can perhaps motivate our government to put a stop it.
